- Logpoint fortifies commitment to protect customers’ data with new SOC 2 Type II attestation.
COPENHAGEN, November 21, 2023 – Logpoint is announcing the completion of System and Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type II following the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts (AICPA). SOC 2 Type II is an audit of cloud data security and attests to the security standards Logpoint puts in personnel, product development, and cloud security.
SOC 2 Type II is a comprehensive and independent assessment of internal controls for security, confidentiality, processing, integrity, privacy, and availability of customer data over a period of time to evaluate how well a service provider secures sensitive information.
The SOC 2 Type II report demonstrates that Logpoint complies with the highest security standards for data management and provides maximum protection with complete customer isolation, data encryption, customer data segregation, and role-based access.
Logpoint provides a converged security operations platform that protects the entire business by providing threat detection, investigation, and response across the whole IT infrastructure, either on-prem, in the private cloud, or as SaaS. The audit report confirms that Logpoint has customer data security at the center, from employees to development and testing.
“The SOC 2 Type II compliance audit is a testament to security being at the center of everything we do at Logpoint,” says Christian Have, Logpoint CTO. “We have built our solution with security in mind from the ground up. So, we are happy with the confirmation that we ensure that our customers’ data and that Logpoint’s solutions are well secured.”
Logpoint adds the SOC2 Type II attestation to its EAL3+ certification, the highest security standard achieved by a SIEM vendor. You can read more about third-party validation of Logpoint’s security solution on Logpoint’s website.
